Storage and privacy choices

Outgrow uses browser storage or Android app-private storage for local saves, preferences, identity/session state and supported purchase recovery. These necessary records help the game remember your progress and keep accounts connected. Some connected features also use authentication/session cookies.

Optional choices

Gameplay analytics is off by default. PostHog event sharing and masked browser replay have separate choices and require enabled service configuration. Change these in Privacy settings. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep optional analytics off. Optional device notifications require their own permission when push is available.

Clearing or exporting

Export progress before clearing site/app data or uninstalling. Clearing storage can remove local saves and sign-in state, create a new installation identity and stop access to local recovery information. It does not automatically delete server accounts, paid ownership or provider records. Signing out leaves personal local saves. Keep exports private because they may contain recovery credentials.
